About the role: Working within a recycling yard, you will be responsible for sorting and processing steel and metal materials on a conveyor line. This is a physically active role suited to candidates who enjoy hands-on work and being part of a team. Day to day duties include: Sorting recycled steel and metal products from a conveyor system Identifying and separating materials safely and efficiently General manual handling duties Assisting with site cleanliness and maintaining a safe work environment Working collaboratively with the team to meet production targets The successful candidates will have: Previous experience in a labouring, recycling, or industrial environment (preferred) Strong safety focus and awareness Ability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks Reliable transport and strong attendance record Good communication skills and ability to work in a team Full working rights in Australia Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening Shift Times: Day Shift Monday to Friday: 6:00am - 4:00pm Overtime available as required If you are looking for stable, ongoing work with an immediate start, apply now with your resume in Microsoft Word or PDF format.
